Waterfront Compound in Pine Neck

With broad waterfront on Noyac Bay, this traditional-style home with a modern twist, designed by A.T. Grey, features cutting edge amenities and elegant custom details–yet is virtually maintenance-free. The property features three structures: a 1,600 sf main house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths; 4-season enclosed porch with radiant floor heat attached to a 1-car garage and 6-bed bunk room with full bathroom; and a separate bathhouse with sauna, laundry room, 2 changing rooms, bathroom, and 2 outdoor showers.

Particular attention was paid to the ingenious use of interior space, maximizing the floor plans and creating a grand feeling. Custom details include hand forged metal work, hand-selected blue stone and multi-color granite. Maintenance free materials, critical to this waterfront property, included copper roofs and gutters, 5/8 inch taper sawn wooden shingle, aluminum clad windows, and Versatex exterior trim.

Tom O’Donoghue’s talent and “Of course we can” attitude kept our project moving forward in a timely and highly energetic fashion. He was on site daily and helped us make smart design choices. We will be renovating another house in the near future and look forward to working with Tom again.
