This house was designed and furnished by Timothy Godbold.  His notes are below:

The houses color pallette is set to create a sense of calmness and tranquility. Tones are kept neutral to bring out the warmth and texture of the wood and wall finishes.

The front entrance has a pair of mid century italian armchairs in the style of Gio Ponti and upholstered in the style of ponti with the contrast of color and fabric. The pair of Milo Baughman chairs in the living area came from a dealer in Beverly Hills, and were used as set decoration for the movie Anchorman 2.

The main room has a large communal dining table to create a mood of equality and ease. The kitchen has been stripped of metal trims and kept clean with the focus on the marble walls and the beautifully hand crafted white oak cabinets.

The junior master bedroom and bathroom has a neutral color palette with homage to monochromatic colors of Klien, Halston and Ford. The armchair is covered in the finest Italian suede, made in Sweden in 1962 and a perfect lounge chair for summer afternoon gazing.

Second floor master bedroom and bathroom is white to create a sense of light and perfect for the Hamptons summers. The cabinet is from Milan, designed in 1961 and was shipped and installed, made from rosewood and white veneer it is a perfect compliment to the room.

The second bedroom is designed to give a sense of the American wild and Aspen ski lodge was the inspiration for this room with Scandinavian accents. The re-imagined iconic shearling covered Arne Norell Ari chair is extremely comfortable, first created in 1963 in Sweden

The third bedroom is a hipster vibe with the Italian electric blue arm chair, Nordic Swiss army bed blanket and surf board.

The wall and the bathroom is created from a concrete effect with a wax coating, bamboo wood accents in the bathroom create a serene mediation vibe.

The central staircase’s light fixtures are from Finland and created from beech wood, all hand turned and crafted.

Small details like the white oak door handles are from the Netherlands.
